As photographers we look forward to our weddings. Being in the midst of happy occasions are so special.
Though we train our selves to work under any circumstances, we also hope the day offers perfect weather.
The week leading up to Mallorie & Jake’s wedding in the Adelaide West Beach area was a perfect in terms of the weather. But on wedding day, the skies had other ideas and turned into cold, windy and overcast.
Wet and windy weather aside, the day was amazingly warm and wonderful. It was another one of those intimate weddings (which we love so much) with close loved ones attending.
The decor was uniquely exquisite. So much attention to detail. Taking pictures of decor at a wedding is standard practice by any photographer. But in this wedding we both went overboard. There was so much tiny little details we could not ignore. Then there was the cake, baked by Jake’s mother. One of the most gorgeously unique cakes we have ever seen.
The ceremony was very emotional and the vows even got us emotional.
After all the formalities were completed it was time to head towards the beach for the creative shoot with the couple and their bridal party. Braving the cold, wet and windy weather we got through the shoot in record time. Just in time to get our couple back indoors before they turned into icicles 🙂
Another memorable day for us. This time in the Adelaide’s West Beach.
