No matter how far away one’s loved ones may be, during occasions of importance, families and friends come together to offer love and support. This was the case with Shiloh and Adam. Not being from South Australia, their wedding day was the perfect occasion for their families from around the country to come together. It was a momentous occasion not to be missed.
With perfect weather, clear blue skies, Shiloh and Adam’s ceremony was held at Glanville Hall in Semaphore. This historical location, dating back well over a 100 years has been playing host to weddings since the 1850’s. Shiloh and Adam’s was another addition to the history books of this amazing location.
The vast picturesque gardens presented a wonderful setting for Shiloh and Adam’s union with the historical Glanville Hall building sitting graciously in the background.
In addition to the usual formalities, the ceremony was filled with heart-warming touches. Each parent performed a task that added a sentimental value to Shiloh and Adam’s time at the altar. The highlight of them all was Shiloh’s grand parents blessing the rings before they were exchanged. All attending this momentous occasion looked on with touched hearts as the grand parents gently placed a warm kiss on the rings as a sign of their well wishing. We all shed a tear of joy and happiness during this moment. These certainly were memories that will be cherished and looked back upon with joy for the rest of Shiloh and Adam’s lives.
The rest of the afternoon was spent mingling with family, guests and having photos taken. Then it was time to go into the hall, let everyone’s hair down and dance the night away.
